Growing up the youngest of nine children, Fran Macrae Torres became skilled at an early age in the art of negotiation, flexibility and patience, highly coveted skills in working with buyers and sellers in Real Estate.  A full time licensed real estate agent, Fran has been with the Bedford office of Houlihan Lawrence since 1999.

After graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Radio-TV-Film, Fran started her career as a Page at NBC in New York.  Rave notices for her interpersonal skills and attention to detail landed her in NBC’s coveted Talent Relations Department. There she successfully managed the publicity campaigns for the talent and NBC hit shows LAW & ORDER, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, ANOTHER WORLD, LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN and THE COSBY SHOW.

After moving to Bedford, Fran immersed her energy into the community while raising her two boys. She has been active in the Bedford Central School District, serving as Co-President of the Parent-Teacher Association, active in the community, as a member of the Bedford Hills Neighborhood Association and involved with her local church, Bedford Community.
